Then They Came For Trump

THEN THEY CAME FOR TRUMP

Exclusive: Jesse Lee Peterson warns of what's next if left can take down 'The Donald'

“… Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.”

– Martin Niemoller, anti-Nazi pastor

Donald Trump set off a firestorm with his recent remarks about Mexico. Good, he’s hit a nerve.

At his campaign kickoff announcement at Trump Towers, Trump said, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you (gesturing to audience member), they’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

The left and media went nuts, using only selected parts of his statement for maximum outrage.

Can anyone deny the truth of Trump’s words? According to a Fusion investigation, 80 percent of women and girls crossing into the U.S. from Mexico are raped during their journey. That’s up from a previous estimate of 60 percent by Amnesty International.

Yet, the left and media quickly portrayed him as a racist. Univision executive Alberto Ciurana posted a photo of Trump next to Charleston church massacre suspect Dylann Roof, before the company decided to cut ties with Trump.

NBC severed their relationship with Trump and canceled plans to broadcast his Miss USA beauty pageant. The George Soros-backed MoveOn.org created a petition pressuring Macy’s to dump Trump. Macy’s caved, removing Trump brand merchandise from its stores.

Leftist New York City Mayor Bill DeBlazio blasted Trump for his “disgusting and offensive remarks.” He’s ordering the city to review all of its contracts with Trump.

The New York Daily News even superimposed a clown face on Trump for its cover, with the headline, “Clown runs for prez.”

Leftist hero Saul Alinsky wrote, “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Alinsky’s disciple, Barack Obama, used that weapon to embarrass Donald Trump at a White House correspondent’s dinner in 2011 after Trump questioned the validity of Obama’s birth certificate.

Alinsky also infamously said, “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Leftists know they can separate Trump from some fellow Republicans, who try hard to show they’re not racists as they bargain for votes.

Republicans are notorious for fearing ridicule, and they often squander good opportunities. In the 2012 campaign, a secretly recorded tape surfaced of Mitt Romney lamenting the “47 percent” who vote Democrat because they pay no income tax and get free stuff. Romney could have embraced the issue, saying how tragic it is that Barack Obama purposely creates government-dependent human beings for his own personal gain! Instead, Romney changed the subject, and the rest is history.

This is the appeal of Trump. He’s not afraid to tell the truth. And once he says it, he rarely backs down. This is refreshing, particularly since most white men in power seem to be in nonstop apology mode – waiting for the next media beat down.

Leftists and the media also know they can employ class warfare against Trump. They know many Americans have fallen for their game, and have allowed themselves to become jealous of the rich. That’s why Romney’s success and wealth – which should have been strengths – became weaknesses, especially since Romney refused to defend himself.

In pleasant contrast, Trump is not ashamed of his wealth. “I’m really rich,” he said. “I’m proud of my net worth. I really am.”

He is also strong in his views, which the left also tries to use as a negative, knowing that many Americans have become weak and dependent and thus don’t identify with strength.

Trump was vindicated Friday by the Washington Times: “Francisco Sanchez, 45, who was arrested in connection with the seemingly random killing of Kathryn Steinle, 32, while she walked along the city’s Pier 14 with her father, was last deported in 2009 – the fifth time he has been sent back to Mexico, authorities said …”

Trump took to Twitter: “Where are the other candidates now that this tragic murder has taken place b/c of our unsafe border?”

Some Christian conservatives don’t like Trump because he’s “not conservative enough,” has supported Democrat candidates and abortion, and has been married several times. So they won’t stand with him now.

But it’s not really about standing with the man. It’s standing up for the truth the man is speaking. It’s standing for Americans – especially black Americans – who are being neglected every day in favor of illegal aliens.

This is not an endorsement for a political candidate. It is an endorsement of the truth that candidate has spoken.

If the left and media can take down someone as rich and powerful as Donald Trump, they can take anyone down.

Let Macy’s, NBC and NBC Universal know you don’t approve of them shutting down Trump and siding with illegal aliens over American citizens.

Progressives and their media mouthpieces will continue attacking us until we are fully subjugated. But we have the choice to start standing up for truth, and reclaim our country.

Let’s stand for something.
